Weekly art show 3rd November
Culture tightens its grip as soon as the word beauty is pronounced. Once the terrain is freed of the time -honoured measuring stick of beauty - an old tethering pole , a great phantom stake - we can return to the healthy horizontal , the wholesome barren state. The spirit has free rein once again.

Watercolour Poems
What lies beneath
lurking in my memory
moments of pain, or
expressions of joy
and today
I ask what need I know
the answer unfolds
Your memories are now
lines of colour
moments of energy
Just let them be

Watercolour on A2 cold pressed paper
The serenity of the wild
Finding moments of peace and stillness
sat in nature
Freeing of the world of chaos
letting go of outcome
connecting to intuition
allow nature to inspire your marks
nothing wrong , nothing right , just is

Embodied Nature
As I wander through
the forest
the spirit , colour and shapes
infuse into my being
In the presence of stillness
lies the unknown , but not
the unseen
floods into my consciousness
In this fleeting moment
of raw remembering
within my body
An intensity of creation unfolds
the spirit of my wanderings
