I began making my Watercolour Poems to help with my mental health and connection to life. Life inspires them , nature informs them , my state of being informs them , spirit informs them as they are automatic painting. The watercolour poems inspires my other paintings and how i see the world. I use watercolour as its mutable , unpredictable , ethereal , raw , unedited and human which inspires how i think about life.
I do not have names for each one and at the moment i am embarked on journey to make 1000 of the next few years to see how they change as i evolve.
The watercolour paint is professional high quality and beautiful as a material and it is painted on acid free , archival , 300g/m2 cold pressed paper , 40 × 50 cm.
I use different papers throughout my work as each paper has different qualities which hold the essence of whats been created. All my watercolour poems are created with me making a border which is part of my expression and how i automatically and intuitively create. You can mount these as close of far to that border as you like to how the painting makes you feel.
They are your expression of life now as you were drawn to it and buying unique original art is special as you have something which has meaning , connection and care.
