I find hundreds of faces in a floor mosaic or a speckled wall- God favours man with his fortune. Those are presents for those who serve Him with art. I often feel the power vibrating in the hand so that often it comes out all right in ink right away ; but usually I have to outline in pencil

It is always a balance

not to create harmony or even beauty

but to connect between spirit and material

Stillness with whatever is happening within focuses on the moment

The only movement is intentionality of the paint body

But often like the reaction with paint, water and paper

my mind wavers , the emotion disrupts and

there is the poetry.

Abstracted forms and symbols from Tree bark and with raw expressive gestural painting something new is created from nature.

It is my nature to express freely so having a form to work with creates disharmony, it is sitting with that discomfort, letting go of its exactness and finding ethereal movement within the shapes manifests something new. The beauty of seeking each time with different colours , different feelings and movement to find something different within the form through me.

I am seeking the hidden language of nature
