Weekly art show 20th October 2025
We understand by this term ( Raw Art) produced by persons unscathed by artist culture, where mimicry plays little or no part (contrary to the activities of intellectuals). These artist derive everything -subjects, choice of materials , means of transposition, rhythms, styles of writing , etc - from their own depths , and not from the conventions of classical or fashionable art. We are witness here to a completely pure artistic operation , raw , brut , and entirely reinvented in all of its phases by means of the artists’ own impulses , it is thus art which manifests and unparalleled inventiveness, unlike cultural art , with its chameleon and monkey like aspects

Watercolour Poems
It happens in one moment
an idea of something
Flittering and Fluttering at the brink
of my conciousness
Hesitant of my first move
Then there it is
There is no going back now
my consciousness rapidly flows
Then it abruptly stops
that’s my end
Christopher Evans
Watercolour on 40 x50cm cold pressed paper
Songs of my Soul
Behind a shape is another shape
waiting to emerge.
Behind one colour is another
patient for the right time.
Delve deeply into natures form
and colour until its spirit
reveals itself.
Take one more step
and you become spirit

Embodied nature : An Autumns Moment
Fall, Leaves, Fall
Emily Brontë
Fall, leaves, fall; die, flowers, away;
Lengthen night and shorten day;
Every leaf speaks bliss to me
Fluttering from the autumn tree.
I shall smile when wreaths of snow
Blossom where the rose should grow;
I shall sing when night’s decay
Ushers in a drearier day.
